Brinlee Freeman

Hey everyone! My name is Brinlee Freeman, and I'm a P3 at UHCOP. I received my Bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University (Gig em!) and I currently work as a Pharmacy Extern at MD Anderson through their longitudinal program. I'm super excited to be serving as President of SSHP this year! I joined SSHP during my P1 year because I knew I wanted to pursue a residency and wanted to explore the many opportunities within pharmacy. Since then, SSHP has helped me connect with students, pharmacists, and residents while giving me a better understanding of the residency process. My current interests are pediatrics and oncology, but I love that pharmacy offers so many different directions to explore! Whether you're curious about residency, wanting residency prep help, or just want to connect with others, SSHP is a great place to start. I'm excited to help create opportunities for everyone to learn, connect, and grow this year!

President-Elect

Eirene Dahay

Hello! My name is Eirene Dahay, and I am so excited and honored to serve as SSHP President-Elect for the 2026–2027 year! During my undergraduate studies, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Trinity University. I currently work as a Pharmacy Intern at CVS and as a Pharmacy Extern through the LPSE program at MD Anderson. After pharmacy school, I hope to pursue residency and ultimately build a career focused on women’s health while helping shape a more inclusive and patient-centered healthcare landscape. SSHP has given me countless opportunities to step outside of my comfort zone, connect with others, and continuously grow within the pharmacy profession. Through attending events and becoming involved, I have built meaningful connections and gained valuable experiences that serve as constant reminders of why pharmacy is the right path for me. I hope to help other students involved in SSHP experience that same sense of growth, connection, and inspiration. Whether you are curious about residency, interested in learning more about the many clinical paths pharmacists can pursue, or simply looking for ways to become more involved, SSHP is the place to be! I am incredibly excited for all that this new year has in store and look forward to meeting more of you along the way!

Hello! My name is Andre Chang, and I am from Missouri City, TX. I am currently a P3 student and will be serving at Vice President of Communications this year! I am born and raised here in Houston, Texas. For undergraduate, I went to Texas A&M University where I obtained a bachelor of science in biochemistry. I currently work as an Intern through the Houston Methodist Sugarland PILLAR program and at CVS. I am pursing pharmacy as I love how diverse the field can be and what it has to offer. Some of my hobbies consist of working out, playing video games and hanging out with my friends. I am excited to be part of this incoming SSHP's team to inform and engage our members as well as showcasing all of our chapters achievements this year!

Ashley Kurian

Hi! My name is Ashley, a P3 at UHCOP, and I am so excited to serve as SSHP's VP of Programming this school year! I completed my pharmacy prerequisites at Texas A&M University (whoop!) and currently work as a Pharmacy Intern through the Houston Methodist MILE Program. In my free time, I love to read, ride my bike, play games with friends, and check out new coffee or matcha shops. I joined SSHP as a P1 because I was interested in and wanted to learn more about residency, but I stayed because of the abundance of welcoming people, resources and information. My goal as VP of Programming is to bring awareness to this organization and all of the benefits it has to offer to everyone, regardless of their unique, amazing path they're currently on in the field of pharmacy. Excited to meet you all!

Hey y’all, my name is Kenzie Aycock, and I am excited to serve as SSHP’s Secretary for the year! I completed my pharmacy prerequisites at Lamar University before moving to Houston. My passion for pharmacy stems from my mother who works as an informatics pharmacist in my hometown of Nederland, TX. After pharmacy school, I plan to pursue a residency in critical care or internal medicine where I will continue to learn and grow in my new role as a pharmacist. In my role in SSHP, I hope to use my creativity to promote our organization’s mission while advocating for the pharmacy profession.
