Executive Team
PresidentKevin HuynhWhat’s up everyone! My name is Kevin Huynh, and I am currently a P3 at UHCOP. Fun fact about me is that I make SoundCloud mixes for fun, so if you’re into EDM music let me know if you’re interested :) I took my pre-pharmacy studies at the University of Houston and I’m ready and excited to serve as your President for 2023-2024! Once I entered pharmacy school, I joined SSHP because I wanted to expose myself to different fields of pharmacy other than your traditional retail route. SSHP provided me with a foot in the door by allowing for me to hear stories from current residents and clinical pharmacists about why they chose their specific fields and what they enjoyed about their careers. From hearing these stories, I’ve taken their advice to forge my own path in my pharmacy journey, taking it one step at a time, growing and developing into the best version of myself that I can be. As President this year, I intend to provide students with the same opportunities that SSHP has offered me the past two years. With the help of my wonderful team, I hope to continue the legacy of SSHP and pass it forward by providing events to our members such as mentorship programs, residency preparation workshops, networking events, and many more! Joining SSHP has been one of the best decisions I’ve made because it allowed for me to see that pharmacy school is not just about making good grades and doing well in your classes. Pharmacy school is about making connections as well, as it opens many more opportunities for you in the future. I hope SSHP helps students explore various career pathways while also continue developing in their personal and professional goals. I look forward meeting you all and to having another great year with SSHP!

President-ElectMegan Huang-FrazierHi everyone! My name is Megan Huang Frazier and I’m a currently a P2 at UHCOP. I am so excited to be your President-Elect for the 2023-2024 school year! I received my Bachelor’s degree at Texas A&M University (whoop!) and my Master’s degree at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. I joined SSHP as a P1 because of my interest in pediatrics and cardiology as well as the opportunities and resources that this org has to offer. From mentorship to residency workshops and socials, I’ve gained so much knowledge and connections from just my P1 year alone. I hope that with the help of my team, we’ll be able to continue to uphold SSHP to the standards that were set before us and continue to educate pharmacy students on what a residency is, why you should do residency, and more. I’m super excited to meet you all and can’t wait to see what this year has to offer!

VP of ProgrammingSusan LeHello everyone! My name is Susan Le, and I'm a P2. I'm from Dallas, TX. I have grandma-like hobbies, such as crocheting and putting puzzles together. Sometimes, I like to feel alive and jump out of a plane (skydive). SSHP was the first organization I joined when I began pharmacy school, and I have held an officer position ever since! I joined SSHP because I am interested in hospital system pharmacy and residency. It has helped me to develop my professional skills and confidence to prepare for residency and learn about the different pharmacy fields in the health system. SSHP opens doors to networking with pharmacists through their socials, events, and workshops - including at the regional and state level. I have also made many supportive friends in SSHP, which is much needed in pharmacy school. I am very excited to be your VP of Programming this year! I aim to invite impactful guest speakers to our events and provide opportunities to broaden your network and possibilities in health system pharmacy and residency! I hope our events will help motivate you and build new goals on your road to residency and becoming a future pharmacist!
