Executive Team
PresidentMegan Huang Frazier
Hi everyone! My name is Megan Huang Frazier and I’m a currently a P3 at UHCOP. I am so excited to be your President for the 2024-2025 school year! I received my Bachelor’s degree at Texas A&M University (whoop!) and my Master’s degree at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. I joined SSHP as a P1 because of my interest in pediatrics and cardiology as well as the opportunities and resources that this org has to offer. From mentorship to residency workshops and socials, I’ve gained so much knowledge and connections from just my P1 year alone. I hope that with the help of my team, we’ll be able to continue to uphold SSHP to the standards that were set before us and continue to educate pharmacy students on what a residency is, why you should do residency, and more. I’m super excited to meet you all and can’t wait to see what this year has to offer!

President-ElectJeremy NinanHey everyone! My name is Jeremy Ninan, and I'm a P2 at UHCOP. I completed my pharmacy school prerequisites at Texas A&M University. I'm so excited to be President-Elect of SSHP this year to guide our officer team in offering you the resources that supported me during my P1 year. Honestly, I never imagined becoming President-Elect, which speaks to how impactful this organization has been to me. During my P1 year, I was introduced to various people and opportunities that have opened many unexpected doors for me. SSHP has revealed to me that there is more to pharmacy through specializations, such as transplant, emergency medicine, or informatics. I love how this organization allows us to meet different residency programs at such an early stage in our pharmacy careers. Pharmacy is all about connections. SSHP does an excellent job of presenting multiple networking events to connect with current pharmacists and learn more about their everyday lives. Through our events, I hope students learn more about residencies and are encouraged to pursue one that matches their interests. If you want to know more about residency, this organization is the right place to start with! I am so excited to work with all of you and make this year memorable!

SecretaryAndy DangHey guys, my name is Andy Dang and I am a P3. I’m excited to be apart of this organization again this year! I was born and raised in Spring, Texas, and I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Houston with a Biology, B.S. What drew me to the field of pharmacy was the fact that the profession is extremely dynamic and constantly evolving - as a pharmacist, there is always going to be something new to learn, as new drugs and therapy plans are consistently being developed within the industry. I initially joined SSHP because I had an interest in pursuing a career in clinical pharmacy, and participating in the events that SSHP hosts has given me many opportunities to be exposed to this field. From having guest speakers present at general meetings to hosting residency showcases and workshops, SSHP provides such valuable tools for students looking to pursue a residency. I'm looking forward to working with everyone again this year!

TreasurerSusan LeHello everyone! My name is Susan Le, and I'm a P3. I'm from Dallas, TX. I have grandma-like hobbies, such as crocheting and putting puzzles together. Sometimes, I like to feel alive and jump out of a plane (skydive). SSHP was the first organization I joined when I began pharmacy school, and I have held an officer position ever since! I joined SSHP because I am interested in hospital system pharmacy and residency. It has helped me to develop my professional skills and confidence to prepare for residency and learn about the different pharmacy fields in the health system. SSHP opens doors to networking with pharmacists through their socials, events, and workshops - including at the regional and state level. I have also made many supportive friends in SSHP, which is much needed in pharmacy school. I am very excited to be your Treasurer this year! I hope our events will help motivate you and build new goals on your road to residency and becoming a future pharmacist!

Immediate Past President
Kevin Huynh
What’s up everyone! My name is Kevin Huynh, and I am currently a P4 at UHCOP. Fun fact about me is that I make SoundCloud mixes for fun, so if you’re into EDM music let me know if you’re interested :) I took my pre-pharmacy studies at the University of Houston and I served as your President for 2023-2024! Once I entered pharmacy school, I joined SSHP because I wanted to expose myself to different fields of pharmacy other than your traditional retail route. SSHP provided me with a foot in the door by allowing for me to hear stories from current residents and clinical pharmacists about why they chose their specific fields and what they enjoyed about their careers. From hearing these stories, I’ve taken their advice to forge my own path in my pharmacy journey, taking it one step at a time, growing and developing into the best version of myself that I can be. As President, I endeavored to provide students with the same opportunities that SSHP has offered me the past two years. With the help of my wonderful team, I continued the legacy of SSHP and passed it forward by providing events to our members such as mentorship programs, residency preparation workshops, networking events, and many more! Joining SSHP has been one of the best decisions I’ve made because it allowed for me to see that pharmacy school is not just about making good grades and doing well in your classes. Pharmacy school is about making connections as well, as it opens many more opportunities for you in the future. I hope SSHP helps students explore various career pathways while also continue developing in their personal and professional goals. I look forward meeting you all and to having another great year with SSHP!

I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Houston with a Psychology, B.S., and minors in Business Administration and Biology. Some of my hobbies include going on walks, finding new places to eat, and studying at coffee shops. I chose pharmacy because I have been working in a retail pharmacy for three years and I love being able to help patients. I joined SSHP because I wanted to explore residency and expand my knowledge of the areas of pharmacy. I am currently interested in pediatrics and psychiatry, but I am open to all sectors. Residency can be a rigorous and competitive application process so SSHP provides ample resources to prepare for that time. I am so excited to be your medication safety senior chair this year and to work with this incredible team!
